In 2022, a group of special, dedicated community members embarked on a project to grow the horizon of Venus ISD. The diligent studies of a long-range facilities planning committee led to a multi-year roadmap for Venus ISD’s growth. A bond planning committee took over to study the feasibility of funding the growth plan, ultimately recommending a pause for a better financial environment… and that time has come!

With student growth and community development, our timeline for expanding VISD facilities is becoming more urgent. We are reconvening the Venus ISD Bond Planning Committee to consider funding the next stage of facility growth through bond funding.

We will host a short series of meetings to launch from the point where the 2022-2023 committee recommended a pause.
