Enrollment Requirements

We are happy to have you here in the Bulldog Family! To enroll your student, you will need the following documentation:

  • Birth Certificate *
  • Social Security Card (optional)
  • Immunization (Shot) Record
  • Driver’s License or other photo ID of the Parent/Guardian
  • Proof of Residence
    • Current utility bill (water, gas, or electricity) showing your current address. If you have recently moved, or if your rent and utilities are included in your rental payment, you may provide a current copy of your lease or rental agreement. If you reside with another individual and your name is not included on the lease, rental agreement, or utility bill, a notarized letter from the homeowner or lessee stating that you reside with them, along with a copy of their current utility bill, will be accepted. You may also use the form below.
  • Most Recent Report Card (Grades 1–12)
  • Official Transcript (Grades 9–12)
  • Proof of Income (Pre-K only)
  • Withdrawal Form from Previous School, showing current withdrawal grades

¡Nos alegra tenerle en la Familia Bulldog! Para inscribir a su estudiante, necesitará la siguiente documentación:

  • Acta de nacimiento *
  • Tarjeta del Seguro Social (opcional)
  • Registro de vacunación
  • Licencia de conducir u otra identificación con foto del padre, madre o tutor
  • Comprobante de domicilio
    • Factura reciente de servicios públicos (agua, gas o electricidad) que muestre su dirección actual. Si se ha mudado recientemente o si el alquiler y los servicios públicos están incluidos en el pago de la renta, puede presentar una copia reciente de su contrato de arrendamiento. Si reside con otra persona y su nombre no aparece en el contrato de arrendamiento, contrato de alquiler o factura de servicios públicos, se aceptará una carta notariada del propietario o arrendatario que indique que usted reside con ellos, junto con una copia de su factura de servicios públicos actual. También puede utilizar el formulario que aparece a continuación.
  • Boleta de calificaciones más reciente (Grados 1–12)
  • Expediente académico oficial (Grados 9–12)
  • Comprobante de ingresos (solo para Pre-Kínder)
  • Formulario de retiro de la escuela anterior, con las calificaciones actuales al momento del retiro
Interdistrict Transfer Information

Venus ISD is *NOT currently accepting transfer requests.

If we are able to open up to transfer students in the future, these requirements will apply.

VISD Open Enrollment Transfer Students with the provision of available space in the grade level requested, the parent/guardian is responsible for providing the following requirements documentation:

  • 90% attendance or higher (Attendance report or report card with attendance reported)

  • Was not placed in DAEP/JJAEP (Discipline report)
